So you’re interested in competing in this year’s Rickey competition.

Here’s how I would get started:
Either reach out to brand reps/suppliers you work with regularly or are interested in building a relation with

OR look through the list of brands (this list will be updated and will be found below this text box) for the product you would be interested in making a Rickey cocktail with. From there, reach out to this brand and work together on getting samples if you need them.

After you’ve decided what spirit you’re using, you’ll surely be doing some R&D.

Here’s the basic requirement for the cocktail:

A. At least 1.5 oz of the sponsored gin, bourbon, or rye

B. Lime juice or comparable citrus ingredient

C. A carbonated beverage.

D. Served over ice.

We’ll go over some suggestions and share FAQs further on.

After you’ve found your recipe and tested it between friends and colleagues, it’s time to submit the cocktail.

To do so you’ll fill out the submission form with the following fields:

  • Your name

  • Where you work

  • The name of your cocktail

  • The ingredients

  • Glassware Choice

  • instructions on additional prep (infusions, fat wash, carbonated beverage prep, etc.)
